TRAVEL
You'll want to fly into the Raleigh/Durham Airport (RDU).
The airport is about 20 minutes from Downtown Raleigh, 25 minutes from our house, and 30 minutes from the venue. We recommend choosing accommodations based on which events you plan to attend—details below to help guide you!
We’re so excited to have you join us for our wedding weekend! We know guests are coming from near and far, and since events are spread across Raleigh and surrounding towns, we wanted to offer a few location-based hotel recommendations to make planning easier. Below you’ll find a mix of vetted hotels, plus a map to help you get a feel for where everything is.
ACCOMMODATIONS
-
We didn’t reserve room blocks—many had high minimums or weren’t offering meaningful discounts, and we wanted to give guests more flexibility. Feel free to book wherever works best for you! We also highly recommend checking out Airbnb or VRBO in these areas. If you’re leaning that direction but want a little more context on a neighborhood, feel free to text or call us—we’re happy to help.
We’re also on the waitlist for a few smaller hotels and will share updates if anything opens up.
RALEIGH MARRIOTT CITY CENTER
If you’re planning to spend the whole weekend with us, Downtown Raleigh is a great home base. It’s lively and full of great restaurants, bars, and shops—perfect if you’re hoping to explore the city or meet us for drinks on Friday night. North Hills is another fun, slightly more low-key area nearby with a similar vibe. Both spots are fairly central to the weekend’s events.
THE MAYTON
Cary is a charming town just outside of Raleigh, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking for something more laid-back but still conveniently located. It sits between the airport, our house (where Saturday’s welcome party is), and the wedding venue, making it super practical for the whole weekend. Expect tree-lined streets, cozy coffee shops, and a relaxed, suburban feel.
SPRINGHILL SUITES BY MARRIOTT
If you’re just coming in for the wedding day, staying near the venue is a great option. These hotels are in Apex, NC—the closest town to The Bradford, where we’re getting married, making for a short and easy drive to and from the ceremony/reception. The area is quiet, scenic, and a little more rural—perfect for a peaceful weekend escape.
Whether you’re turning the weekend into a mini trip or just looking to fill a few hours between events, here’s a list of spots we love—our favorite restaurants, coffee shops, and local things to do around Raleigh and the surrounding areas.

The Mountains 3.5 hrs away
Western North Carolina is beautiful. If you're extending your trip and like outdoorsy things, we highly recommend visiting Asheville, or anything along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Beach 2-4 hrs away
Wilmington is 2 hours away (Wrightsville Beach), and Hatteras is 4 hours away since it's at the end of a cape. November isn’t great for swimming or sunbathing, of course, but mild weather still allows you to hang out or take a walk on the beach!
